Mothers Against Genocide presents a special screening and talk with Palestinian Human Rights activist Iyad Burnat. Join us for an inspiring afternoon with award-winning Palestinian human rights activist and film maker Iyad Burnat.
As head of the Bil’in Popular Committee, lyad has devoted his life to nonviolent resistance and the fight for justice, freedom, and human rights.
lyad’s story is featured in the Oscar-nominated documentary Five Broken Cameras, filmed by his brother. He is the author of Bil’in and the Nonviolent Resistance (2016) and a recipient of the 2015 James Lawson Award for Nonviolent Conflict.
